STEP 2
Use a soft rubber mallet to tap in the indicated direction and remove the lid.
STEP 3
Take out the new top cover. Gently pry upward at each marked notch using a flat-head screwdriver.
STEP 4-1
Align the new lid with the gas spring and press it into place.
STEP 4-2
Align the notch on the lid with the locking tab on the base, then press down firmly to secure.
