Abrasive tools like wire brushes, sandpaper, or steel wool should not be used. A 5% solution of commercial detergents or soup is recommended for general cleaning, applied with soft materials such as cloths, sponges, or soft brushes. For removing non-water-soluble deposits like tar or graffiti, use solvents like denatured alcohol, mineral spirits, or xylene with caution, always testing in a small area first. For specific stains such as rust, acids like diluted hydrochloric acid or vinegar can be effective but must be followed by thorough rinsing with water.

love it! I've tried a bunch of solutions for my small space, but this is the most versatile, functional, high quality and mobile addition to my at-home set up. It doesn't feel flimsy (even though all standing desks do wobble a little after a certain level of height, it would be unrealistic to expect this one not to). The stool is really sturdy and much heavier than I thought it was going to be. Highly recommend, and such a breeze to put together.
